Roy Sun C.S.I.
Roy Sun was born in Wuhu, China. His father is a professor at Wuhu Normal University, teaching Media and Film Directing. Under his influence, Roy started to play video cameras and experiment with photography at a very early age.
At the age of 18, Roy went to Beijing Film Academy to major in Photography. At the age of 20, he became the youngest member of China Photography Association. During his undergraduate years, he worked very closely with editors from renowned photography magazines such as China Photography, Photographer's Companion, etc. where he had published numerous photos. He also opened his personal photography exhibit in BFA.
Roy started his colorist career since 2012. Based on the skills in years of photography and graphic design, he always can create the best look of an image in the first second.
Roy is also experienced with studio workflow. His feature credits include War Room (Sony) and Norm of the North (Lionsgate), etc.
He owns his own professional DaVinci station with a grading panel that can run the 2K / 4K workflow.
Also he cooperate with Roush Media, provides HDR and theatrical P3 color grade.
